PUAM
Pu-am /pʊ.am/ comes from the Mapuche language, spoken by an Argentinian aboriginal community, and it means “the representation of the universal soul”.
For the Mapuche community, both the Ñuke Mapu and Pu-am, is everything, it explains everything and it is everywhere. Pu-am it is a concept more than an entity, it is the primordial soul within the animist conception of Mapuche mythology, souls are manifestations of a whole and that whole is called Pu-am.
